Proudly 100% Pinot Meunier. Pale Provençal Pink, this light to medium bodied Rosé has a perfumed nose of pomegranate and citrus.
The lick of residual sugar accentuates the fruit flavours which are teased out through the wine by the juicy citrusy acidity. A saline note which speaks of our coastal proximity, stretches the wine out to a long dry finish.
Wonderful as an aperitif and will also match with a wide array of food. Light salads, Cheeses, Seafood and Smoked Salmon, Hams and prosciutto. Think Christmas!

Proudly made from 100% Pinot Meunier the fruit for this wine was harvested in cool of pre-dawn on the 21/3/2020. Once at the winery the fruit was promptly destemmed and transferred to the press. No additional skin contact was employed the juice being pressed off directly.
This juice was left to cold settle for several days before the well clarified juice was racked to tank for ferment. It was inoculated with a yeast chosen for the fermentation aromatics it liberates. The ferment was kept cool to maintain a civilized pace and preserve the pronounced aromatics. Although we are not fixated on numbers, this wine came into balance at 6g/L residual sugar as had the previous vintage. From here it was simply and briskly moved through the finishing steps.
Bottled on the 1st of July – capturing the wine’s youthful finesse.

"Fresh, bright and youthful aromas of red apples and cherries, a layer of flowers and soft mineral core. On the palate - vibrant and fresh, with mouth-watering acidity then flavours that reflect the nose, a youthful tart fruit note adds length and vibrato. Best drinking from today and through 2022."
